This is because the promise is that many Brazilians will be able to get out of debt with significant discounts and conditions never seen before.

But how does the program work? Who can participate? What are the conditions? Is it worth it?

In today's material, we describe the initiative in full, so that you understand everything about Desenrola Brasil.

So, if you want to know more, and thus have the chance to pay off old debts, come with us!

Desenrola Brasil: everything about the Federal Government's program

Nowadays, it's very difficult to find a Brazilian who doesn't have debts, whether they're large or small.

Especially when we talk about utility bills like electricity, water, internet, or credit card bills, it's common to find consumers in default.

In order to improve this situation, the Federal Government created the Desenrola Brasil Program.

This is an idea that aims to offer better conditions for the settlement of debts incurred up to December 31, 2022.

The aim is that once these debts are paid off, citizens will be able to regain access to credit.

This is because it is known that debt renegotiation is not so simple, so it is important to create initiatives that promote access for the population.

The program allows the renegotiation of debts related to:

Therefore, it is important to highlight that the program does not cover debts with real guarantees, which includes real estate financing, rural credit, operations with third-party risks, or funding.

The idea is to actually offer opportunities for the regularization of simple debts, incurred through regular consumption.

This includes internet debt, credit card debt, and anything else that could end up weighing on your budget and leaving you in the red.

It's worth mentioning that the program works through the track schedule, which we'll see how it works soon!

Who can join the program?

Whenever we talk about a program promoted by the government, many people immediately think that it is something for those on low incomes.

But, when it comes to Desenrola Brasil, the program is much more comprehensive.

It is a fact that the best conditions are offered to the population that earns up to 2 minimum wages.

However, the program also includes those who earn up to R$20,000 per month.

What really differentiates the income brackets are the proposals presented and the discounts obtained.

Furthermore, income also determines the range in which the citizen will be included in the program.

Thus, those with higher incomes participate in Band 2, while those who earn up to 2 minimum wages can be included in Band 1.

In general, what really matters is following the rules regarding the debt period, amount, and type.

As for the period, the debt must have been included between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2022.

Regarding the value of debts, to be part of Band 1, these must be up to R$ 5,000.00, the other bands do not specify values.

And finally, the types are those we have already seen previously.

Therefore, as long as you meet these rules, and do not exceed the income of R$ 20 thousand, you can participate in the program, following the bands.

What are the conditions of the debt installment program?

Desenrola Brasil was created with the aim of facilitating access to debt renegotiation for the Brazilian people.

This works through government incentives, which attract partnerships with large banks in order to obtain discounts and better conditions.

Therefore, the promise is that the program's proposals will be much more advantageous than those usually offered in this type of operation.

When it comes to interest, the government promises to pay off debts in up to 60 installments, with installments of at least 50.00 and 1,99% in interest per month.

Furthermore, the idea is to really get the best proposals, which is why we talk about holding auctions.

These auctions aim to find the best proposals for renegotiating each debt.

In this way, the debt is presented, and the bank that offers the best value has the opportunity to negotiate it with the customer.

This negotiation is guaranteed by the Operations Guarantee Fund, where in the event of default, it is covered by the Government.

It is worth mentioning that these conditions depend on the range in which the citizen was included.

But, in general, the conditions are very advantageous, and have attracted citizens and especially large banks, many of which are already participating!

What are the phases of Desenrola Brasil?

Throughout this material we talk a lot about the tracks.

Therefore, you already understand that to participate in the program it is very important to be included in one of the 2 phases accepted by Desenrola Brasil.

Based on this classification, you will know which phase of the program you will be directed to.

The 1st and 3rd stages are for citizens who make up Band 1.

The 2nd stage is for those who qualify in income band 2, which includes up to R$ 20 thousand.

The phases are intended to offer specific negotiation conditions for each income bracket and type of debt.

It is worth mentioning that each phase has a period, so that the first and second have been available since 07/17/2023, and it is estimated that the third will be released from September 2023.

Below, we'll see how each phase works. Check it out!

1st stage

The first stage of Desenrola Brasil involves the denegotiation of small-value debts.

Thus, the idea is that bank debts of up to R$ 100.00 are removed from credit protection agencies.

This withdrawal is automatic, and the citizen does not need to do anything to have their debt removed.

To be part of this range, you must have an income of up to 2 minimum wages, or be registered with CadÚnico.

Additionally, debts must have been included by December 31, 2022.

This phase has been available since July 17, 2023, so citizens can now check the status of their debts with SPC and Serasa.

The idea behind this step is to eliminate small debts, giving citizens back access to credit.

2nd stage

The second stage of Desenrola Brasil has also been available since July 17, 2023.

This phase is especially aimed at citizens who are in income bracket 2.

This stage includes Debt Renegotiation.

This way, those who earn up to R$20,000 per month can negotiate debts of any amount directly with the bank.

At this stage, all negotiations are carried out directly between the bank and the customer.

This way, the bank offers better conditions in line with the program, and the customer checks whether it fits their budget.

It is worth mentioning that this phase is not guaranteed by the Operations Guarantee Fund, that is, in the event of default, the Government does not cover it.

Therefore, it is a freer phase, where negotiation depends on both parties to occur.

3rd stage

And finally, the third stage is also aimed at Debt Renegotiation and is scheduled to take place from September 2023.

This is the most anticipated stage, as this is when the best conditions for renegotiation will be released.

This phase is exclusive to those in income bracket 1 (up to 2 minimum wages) or registered with CadÚnico, and for debts of up to R$ 5 thousand.

The Federal Government is developing a platform through which renegotiations will be carried out through the auction scheme explained above.

To participate in this phase, citizens must have access to a Gov.br account with silver or gold certification level, and have updated registration data.

This is because the Gov.br account will be used to log in to the platform.

Desenrola Brasil: be careful not to fall for scams!

Throughout this material, we explain everything about the Desenrola Brasil program.

This way, you already know how to participate and what makes the proposal different.

But it's still important to warn people about the scams that are out there.

This is because, with this new feature, many scammers have taken advantage of it to offer absurd proposals in the name of the program.

As a result, SMS messages, messages, and even phone calls are frequently sent pretending to be the bank and offering discounted payments.

In principle, the proposal seems very good and irresistible, but be careful, as it is a scam.

Therefore, it is very important that you do not make any payment without being sure that the contact is official.

Therefore, only negotiate with the bank directly, or through the Federal Government platform.

This way, you can be sure that the payment was made correctly, and your debts will be resolved.

So, now that you know how to protect yourself and understand everything about the program, take the opportunity to check out the possibilities for your profile!
