I have very peculiar tastes, for example, I like cleaning the house at dawn, couscous with avocado, and recently I became crazy about digital accounts.

In the case of digital accounts, it's not just a taste, first of all, it's because it's part of my job, so I need to master the subject to speak with authority.

Furthermore, after discovering the advantages they provide, I wanted to make the most of them. In my house, even my baby has a digital account, so you're not going to be left out, right?

In today's text, I'm going to introduce you to some digital accounts from a more personal perspective, just the main ones that I currently use. It will certainly be easier for you to choose one! See our index below:

How it all began…

NS

The first digital account I had, I don't use anymore. At the time, digital accounts They weren't popular yet and I used them for a while, but soon stopped using them.

The bill was the Super Digital, at that time prepaid cards were also new, I remember that I paid a monthly fee only in the month I used it and I always had to explain to people what a prepaid card was prepaid card.

It was really cool, but still simple, nothing compared to what digital accounts are like today. Furthermore, I didn't know how to take advantage of its advantages.

I no longer use my second digital account either, and at the time I had one, this type of account wasn't common either, in fact, they were just starting to become popular.

Nubank dominated the market, everyone wanted to have an account with this fintech, but it was difficult to get approved.

So, we resorted to easier options, for example, Trigg and Digio. In my case, Digio.

I have a love affair with this digital bank, even though I don't use it anymore, for now.

This is very cool, many digital banks are just riding the wave to not be left behind.

However, in a time where we were the ones begging for approval in digital banks, knowing that there was already an institution ahead of its time that had the audacity to facilitate credit is gratifying.

Based on my personal and professional experience, I believe that the bank does not have the recognition it deserves, but… one day it will get there!

Now we will learn about the main digital accounts that I use, how they work and their benefits, why and what I use them for, etc.

1. Mercado Pago

mercado-pago

Mercado Pago is my main account, close to the digital accounts boom era, it was my first option.

In fact, I only downloaded this account because I used Mercado Livre a lot, after a while it became mandatory among people who shopped on the site.

Now I feel like a dinosaur, because I used Mercado Livre before Mercado Pago existed.

Over time, this became my main account, with it I carry out pay bills, transfer money and receive payments.

I recently bought some cryptocurrencies to test and see how it works on the app. I have to admit that, so far, I haven't found anything exciting.

At Mercado Pago I also have different credit services at Mercado Crédito. This week they released Vehicle Financing for me, as I like to test everything, I did a simulation, result? I was shocked.

In short, I would pay for two vehicles and only take one. Financially speaking, it wasn't worth it for me, for my financial profile, but it could be useful and with lower rates for other people.

As we know, interest rates consider the financial profile of each consumer in different aspects.

On a scale of 0 to 10, I would give it a score of 9.5. Although it is a great place to get credit without bureaucracy, the interest rates on financial services are quite high.

I will label Mercado Pago as a great alternative to get credit even if negative.

2. PicPay

I've only been using PicPay for a short time, but I love it! They keep giving me money out of nowhere! I've already earned 12, 8 and 3 reais.

The money cannot be transferred, so I generate a payment slip on Mercado Pago to withdraw the money, or I add the other amount and pay a bill.

Also, of all the accounts I use, PicPay is the best for earning cashback. So it's definitely worth using it to pay bills, credit card bills, and make purchases in physical stores.

Now this digital bank also has a fixed friend referral program, it pays R$$10.00.

Before, he paid R$$20.00, but it was only valid for some states. I downloaded Picpay by referral, including for the person to earn the money, but it didn't work, because it didn't include the state I lived in.

I would give PicPay a 9 and classify it as one of the best digital accounts to earn cashback and money out of thin air!

3. Next and Inter

next-e-inter

I like these two banks equally, maybe Inter a little more, but I decided to put them in the same topic for two reasons:

The first reason is that they are very complete digital banks, I think the amount of services available in the app is incredible.

You enter Next and see that huge menu, it's even visually polluted.

I love the fact that Next and Inter have investment options for those who want to start small and how easy it is to start investing with them.

The second reason is that it’s where my kids have their digital accounts. Next Joy is great for teaching kids about financial literacy in a fun way.

Ah! When I said that even my baby had a digital account, I wasn't lying. For him, it's only useful for saving money.

My oldest daughter has an account with Next Joy and Inter Kids, which is much more useful for her, especially for teaching financial education.

At Inter, there is no content option for this, but I like the fact that the account is more independent and has PIX for the little ones.

With the Next account for adults you can still earn extra money with referrals, I've already won a few times.

If I were to give a score, Inter would get 8.5 and Next would get 8. Both would get the seal of investments and digital accounts for minors.

4. Bitz

Bitz is a payment wallet, right off the bat, you earn R$10.00 just for opening an account, in addition, you can also earn by referring friends.

It is simpler, as it is more focused on being just a payment wallet, it does not offer many financial services, but it does have loans on the Losango app.

Other than that, it doesn't have a credit card, just debit and virtual cards. It's a great place to put money and forget about it, because, among other accounts, it will be the least used.

However, your money forgotten in Bitz yields up to R$100% of the CDI, a nice advantage.

Although it is in topic 4, I would give it a score of 5, it does what it proposes very well. It is a great option for beginners in the world of digital accounts.

I wouldn't have an exact seal to give it, but I really like its simplicity.

5. Iti Itau

iti-itau

I opened an account at Iti so that a friend could earn the referral reward, two days later I managed to get 9 people to also open an account so that I could earn the referral reward.

Currently, I only use this digital account to carry out missions, before they were simpler, but over time it started to become more difficult to carry out.

Iti has many complaints from users regarding problems with the digital account, for example, the person leaves money there and cannot transfer it because the facial recognition error keeps occurring.

I've never had any problems, as I only transfer via Pix, but, based on user complaints, it would be the one I would least recommend.

With Iti you can credit card even if it is negative through Itaú bank, which is great. The limit is not the best, but it increases as you use it.

A note for Iti? 4. Also, it is legal to earn money from referrals.

6. PagSeguro and Pan

These are mine digital accounts plants, but it's not because they're bad, on the contrary, but I use them little.

PagSeguro is a great option for sellers who have a card reader. I like it because it also has a lot of useful services.

Banco Pan is also interesting, but there is something that bothers me about the app, I don't find it functional. I've had difficulty finding some services in the menu due to the app's layout.

It has many benefits, for example, cashback, points programs and attractive interest rates for those who want to advance their FGTS.

I would give both a score of 6, PagSeguro is great for those who have a business, while Pan is great for those who want a payroll loan and to anticipate the FGTS.

7. Nubank

Nubank-01

I've never been a fan of Nubank, firstly because I don't like to follow the crowd, in fact, I think it's more because they denied my account a few years ago, I was hurt!

But the game changed and they started sending me emails asking me to open an account, I believe it was after the partnership with Easynvest, as I have an account and have already used that platform.

I decided to put my wounded ego aside and open an account. I already knew exactly how this digital account worked and I wanted to test its services in practice.

All my pride fell to the ground! I loved it!

I found the account simple, easy to use and intuitive. However, what I liked most was the “Save money with planned withdrawal” function.

I thought it was great to be able to keep my money separate, earning interest and keeping it for myself. I'm already testing the feature and I like it, I highly recommend it!

Not because of the income, because when it comes to income, we know that this is not the best option to leave your money, but because of the control I can have over my money.

In fact, it's because I don't have control over it, so it's much easier to save. You save your money and can only withdraw it on a set date.

The only thing I didn't like is that you can't choose the same date every time you save money.

For example, at the end of January I saved an amount with a planned withdrawal for 02/02/2023, the next week I put it in again, but that date option no longer existed, the closest option was 03/05/2023.

So, when it's time to withdraw, it will be a little bit each day. Nubank's rating is 9.5. It won my heart! I would say it's a great option for saving money and having financial control.

Conclusion

All the digital accounts mentioned above still have many other benefits, for example, free annual fee, cashback, easy credit, discounts from partners, etc.

There are so many that they won't fit into this text. These accounts, in addition to being advantageous, will help you save money and simplify your life.

However, I have some advice! Let's go!

I don't have credit in all of these accounts, just in two and that's more than enough. I use them to get the benefits they offer and to get to know this universe that is part of my profession.

Can you open an account with each digital bank mentioned here? Of course you can! They are all free and will not cost you anything extra. On the contrary, you can even earn some extra money.

Now, don't ask for a credit card for all these accounts, okay? Credit is a serious matter, you have to have control, you have to know how to use it! The more you have, the more you want to use it.

So, choose one option to be the main one and get credit, and use the others just as tools to enjoy the benefits.

Settle for a virtual debit card or prepaid card, right?

To have any of the digital accounts mentioned here, it's simple, download the app and open your account!

Here on our blog you will find more in-depth content about them, as well as details about their credit cards. It's definitely worth checking out!
